Where to find sabre cats

Sabre Cats are very powerful and agile creatures found in Skyrim. They're almost as strong as Bears , but they are much quicker. They will jump at you and attack you with their claws, dealing massive damage. Try and stay away if possible. You can usually find Sabre Cats in mountainous areas around Skyrim. If you find yourself facing a Sabre Cat , there's almost no reason to run from them, they will be right behind you unless they feel like giving up.

That does not mean to stand completely still! Try and keep as much distance as possible, but do not turn your back towards them! They will attack with their extremely powerful claws. All sabre cats will usually abandon any current prey they are stalking or fighting and direct their voracious appetites toward you.

They dislike water, so you can use this to your advantage. As they are naturally stealthy creatures, you may not notice a sabre cat approaching until it's too late. They predominate at high elevations, and can typically be found in the Pale , Winterhold , and other various snowy places in Skyrim. Two are guaranteed to be found in the mountains northeast of Thalmor Embassy.
